This may be the largest post that I have ever done. So many stunning pictures from this wedding! I feel like every image that I selected for this post assists in telling the unique story of Greg + Amanda’s wedding day!

Surrounded by their family and friends, these two celebrated their nuptials at Amanda’s family lakefront home. Hayden Lake is located just outside of Coeur d’Alene in Northern Idaho. The vibes at the lake are unmatched. Although Hayden gave us a run for a money with precipitation on and off throughout the day, the rain cleared up as the events progressed, leaving us with sunny and BLUE skies for portrait time! The perfect 4th of July weekend celebration.

Classy details such as black bridesmaids’ dresses, greenery, and a modern invite suite complimented the colorful, woodsy feel of the lakefront property. The perfect blend of modern and homey.

Yes to pajama photos with your gals — especially when they include feathers! Major win in my book. Amanda also had fun pajamas for her moms and grandma – I thought that this was so sweet!

Amanda’s stunning dress was custom designed by her sister’s mother in law. It was elegant, sexy, and so fun!

A moment for some timeless black and white.

When Amanda shared her mood board with me, she obviously had an attraction to black and white imagery. Oh girl, me too! I was in heaven and loved incorporating so many b&w into their final gallery.

A quick storm blew through right in-between portraits. Thankful for clients who go with the flow, trust me, and are willing to move their timeline around if needed.

Real moments and relationship dynamics forever. PS, sometimes the candy bribes aren’t successful.

Meeting family on a wedding day and getting an inside peek into relationships is one of my favorite things. The bond between loved ones is such a joy to witness and document.

Due the touch and go weather, a tent was added last minute to keep guests dry. Greg + Amanda rolled with it!

In my opinion, music makes or breaks a reception. Dang, this DJ was so fun to work with. This was one of the most fun receptions that I have ever been to!

Golden hour dreaminess….

Amanda and Greg did a ‘money dance’, which is a tradition in their family. This was a first for me and I loved it! So fun! Basically you have to pay the bride and the groom in order to dance with them. All the money is pinned to them, and then they get to keep it!
