One of my favorite things about the east coast is how close everything is. In a few hours (sometimes less) you can be in the mountains or by the water. Annapolis is a gem in the DMV area. Home to the Naval Academy and rich in history, the stunning city and it’s cobblestone streets sit right on the water.

R + J chose to meet me in this sweet city for their engagement session. Their wedding is next spring in Maryland, so it felt fitting to take their portraits in such a historic part of the state.

From watching the sailboats to walking along the side streets admiring the beautiful homes, Annapolis did not disappoint.

I cannot wait to celebrate these two even more next year!!

I loved the outfits that J planned for their session! I always recommend a dressier look and a more casual look, and they knocked it out of the park! J’s stunning colorful dress is Sézane — obsessed!!
