One of our bucket list trips has been Bozeman, Montana/Yellowstone National Park ever since we moved out west! Spokane is about a 6ish hour drive to the park, so in October, right before the park closed for winter, we headed out to explore!

This was such a special trip! Baby G was finally starting to pop and it was so fun to celebrate the fact that we are going to be parents! I will say though…lots of time in the car during the 2nd trimester was not fun, haha. That low back and sciatica pain was rough the entire trip. We took lots of walking and stretching breaks!

We stayed at Chico Hot Springs Resort in Paradise Valley. We love this quaint little place, and actually stayed here once before on our move out here. The natural hot springs are the highlight of this mountain resort.

We saw and did so many fun things on this trip, but the highlight was definitely fly fishing with my favorite guy. We only caught one fish while fishing for two days, but dang did we have fun! The bison too…we love bison. It was so cool to see them up close! I highly recommend watching the documentary The American Buffalo if you are interested in learning more about our nation’s tragic history with these beautiful animals!
