A wedding day on Spirit Lake – truly a dream day! My summer has been full of Idaho lake weddings this year and I am obsessed. T + S are beautiful humans inside and out! Getting to witness their love in a place that holds so much history for them was such a joy.
Tyler spent his childhood coming to his family lake home, and when Shelby entered his life, it became just as important to her. T + S got ready at the stunning family cabin and then headed down the road to Tesemini Outing Club for their celebration!
Grateful for perfect weather and THAT VIEW! T + S wrote letters to each other to read prior to their ceremony. These sweet moments always make authentic imagery.
Shelby’s dress was perfection. The gown had a structured top with a full skirt, adorned in appliqué flowers. Bonus points for having pockets! Shelby’s sisters and mom helping her put on her veil was one of my favorite moments to witness. Sisterhood is such a gift, and these gals were so giddy to see their girl get married! Lots of giggles and tears.
^ This image!!! Also a fav. After getting dressed, Shelby’s bridesmaids covered her dress in protective plastic, pulled back her hair, and gave her a nice mist of sunscreen so that she wouldn’t burn during the ceremony.
Real moments always.
I love when my couples have their guests toss something as they walk back down the aisle newly married. Not only is it a great way to involve your guests in the celebration, but the images end up being so full of life, emotion, and texture!
T + S did rose petals in paper cones made from the pages of Pride and Prejudice.
After walking back down the aisle, T + S headed down to the dock and hopped on their boat for a spin around the lake. Their guests gathered by the water to clap and cheer for them – so fun!
The boat ride was the perfect quiet moment for them to reflect, be together, and share their excitement over the marriage that they had just walked into. Plus, it made a pretty freaking cool photo op! 🙂
With ample portrait time built into the wedding day timeline, we were able to get portraits of these two together in so many different locations around the Tesemini Outing Club property!
The filmy image below of Shelby was taken by Tyler on one of my disposable film cameras that I like to have as part of my toolbox on wedding days! I love to see the way in which grooms document their new bride! They are always so giddy when I ask them to take a picture! 🙂
Enjoy scrolling through some of my favorites from the rest of their day!
Congrats T + S!!!!
